Hand on heart, I can't say I've missed you, Traluvie, as I haven't been around much myself but I would have if I had have if you get my drift. (No. Stone cold sober!)

You rest those hands. We know you'll be back when you can. Take care.

Me too Tracy - from a fellow hand pain sufferer.

Incidentally my physio told me to rub olive oil over them and put in plastic gloves and dunk and wiggle in hot water to limber them up and give them a good oiling.

But no done it yet cos it feels like a ruinous thing to do to expensive olive oil and also don't have any plastic gloves I want to get all oily inside yet? Need to buy some throwaway poly ones I guess?

Take care and hope you'll be waving at us all again soon  .

Sending you a big hug, my hand's give me loads of grief and it's quite scarey just how much we rely on them. I rest mine as much as I can and do my exercises. There isn't much we can do about it. Keep strong xx

    Hi Tracey,
Bless you, your poor hands, I really do sympathise. I bought a hand wax bath from arg*s it was around £30 and it was the best thing I've ever bought, instant pain relief, my hand physio reccomended it as my fingers are chronically bent and stiff first thing.I hope your hands start to feel better soon. Love and gentle hugs Tracey Xxx

Hi Tracy - delighted to see you waving again! I should have taken a leaf out of your book and shut up for a while in the interests of preserving hands and wrists - which despite steroids, are still stiff and aching and doing sausage like things today!

Have you heard about this Dragon software? I'm thinking of getting it so I can dictate to my laptop when my fingers are particularly painful/stiff/ swollen. Anyone here tried it i wonder?

Dragon software?? no.. i will def be checking that..
I did rest my hands for the week as it was in elbows wrists etc..has done me good, just arther has decided to work it's way back to my hips, but i think that partly my fault for going to a halloween party lol..
Hope the pred works properly for you soon, i found the tablets were no as effective as the injection, but then i know for others it was the opposite way round..so it may be a case of trial and error to find whats the best thing that suits you.. you will get there luvie..xx
