Hi, Oh what a time I'm having. My GP is on holiday this week, so she made an appointment for me next Wednesday, which has been changed to Monday as she isn't in on the Wednesday. Thats fine, no problems for me about that.
At the weekend I developed a nasty pain in my left side, which I think is a UTI, I've tried drinking lots and not standing too much etc, but its just got worse, so today I have very reluctentlly made an appointment with the duty doctor for 11.45.

I normally wouldn't worry about this, but since being told I have a cyst in my pelvic cavity, a scar from endometrosis, which at 30 caused me to have a total hystorectomy, in the belief I would get no further gynea problems (ha, flaming ha)
Just back from the doctor, took it seriouslly and examined me, a little blood in urine, sore tummy when she pressed it in some places, but not in the blader area.

I'm fed up, my body seems to be knackerd; first one thing and then another and all the visits to the doc, I feel like crying or running away, the only trouble with that is if I run away I'll have to take the body with me!!! Please forgive my self pitying moan!

Anyway I have got anti biotics and she told me to call if the pain got worse or I lost a lot of blood. She said it could be a bowel problem such as divaticulitus (My mum and brother had that), or the pelvic cyst may have twisted itself and become inflammed. I have to see my own doc on monday about the councilling I'm going to have, so luckily I have an appointment. She said that I must'nt wait, if it gets worse but contact them straight away as it may need emergency surgery, but its not very likely!!!

Oh dear Sue, it is endless sometimes isn't it. I know uti's can make you feel really rough and low. I hope the antib's kick in quickly and that it isn't anything more serious..

Thank you, I've started them and spent the afternoon sleeping on the bed! Although, of course the pain hasn't gone yet, I feel much more composed and cheerful. The worst of this mornings outing was that I seem to be spending so much time at the doctors and felt embarrised making another appointment. I would have left it longer if it hadn't been for that gynicological cyst thing. They told me to go straight to the doctor if I had pain, so I did and she was understanding and careful. I have to see my own GP next week, unless this gets worse, then I have to ring the surgery!!! Love Sue

Hi, Just to say that the pain seems to be easing off today (fingers crossed). What really worried me and sent me to to the docs was the gyne cyst in the pelvic cavity. In the words of doctor, 'keep an eye on it' so, I didn't want to risk things, but I do think that I've been going for gold as far as visits to the docs go!!! They'll be sick of the sight of me.

I have an appointment on Monday to discuss what to do now that the fibromyligia is on the table, along with neuro probs in my arms. Don't suppose their is much to offer as I'm on the standard pain relief now. Still you never know! Love Sue xxxx

Oh Sue, I feel for you I really do, I know only too well that feeling of if it's not one thing it's another. Glad you're not as sore today, rest up and lets hope something can be done to help with the fibro.
    Love and hugs (((((()))))) Xxx
