Great night out !

Hubby and I went to see " The Specials " in concert yesterday . Amazing , fun night ; much singing and dancing ( or jiggling in the wheelchair ) was had by all ! Really does you good to have a bit of silly , carefree fun . Jillyb

    Glad you had a great time Jilly. The best concert I have ever been to, was to see the Drifters, (how old am I), lol. It was fabulous, everyone was up and swinging away, me included (it was a lonnnnnnnnnnng time ago). We were right near the front, got autographs too. Got me singing now......

    We went a couple of times to see Status Quo at the MEN arena in Manchester It was like going to a party :grin::grin:

    I went to the Brighton Centre quite a lot in my youth. Fave gigs were always the Jam for me.

    Yes indeed , Val , very achey bum and hips but worth it ! We have two more concerts later in the year : Bootleg beatles and the week after we're seeing Status Quo . We love live music ! Jillyb

    Really glad that you enjoyed it Jilly.
    It's sooooooo many years since I went to see a live band. Think it was Motorhead, or maybe Sisters of Mercy..
    Saw Sabbath a few times when I was younger.
