If you want a technical answer about ESA we'd signpost you to one of the specialist Welfare rights organisations - such as the CAB, or DIAL UK.
If you have an underlying arthritis as well as the fibromyalgia - for example osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, you may need to make sure that when your GP and other medical professionals are writing reports listing how your arthritis affects you that they stress the full picture.
A good Welfare rights worker can make sure that you've talked to all of those other medical people who the benefits people will be contacting, to make sure they are ready when contacted and are all saying things which square with how your benefits application was originally submitted.
I appreciate the benefits system is tough at the moment and is causing a lot of concern.
