Bees cooked in honey, chocolate coated scorpions... a nice crunchy locust?
Tonight, Newsnight @ 22:30 on BBC2.

Personally, I eat using my eyes far too much; I couldn't do it - I vomit eating carrots, for flips-sake!

Braver than I mate - just the mere thought of those 'furry' bees and my gag reflex is kicking in. I can't stand honey either. If I HAD to try one, it would prolly be the first one, with the chilli.... Na, actually, flip that, I wanna barf just contemplating the idea.

I'm with Del on this. I'm willing to try most foods, although I don't like the idea of worms of any kind. I was surprised about the bees cooked in honey because I thought bees were an endangered species after their numbers have declined in recent years.
I guess that if we were hungry enough, we'd think that locusts etc. were very tasty0 -
If you had high cholestorol, you'd eat the ones lowest in fat, wouldn't you? So that would be bees and termites, according to that chart.
It doesn't sound too appetising, but then neither does tripe, which I like but lots of people wouldn't even consider eating. I'm sure we could acquire a taste for insects if we had to.0 -
No way Jose These are up with my horror foods onions, tripe and broccoli0
