Hello all,
I'm going for my cataract op this afternoon, so I would really appreciate as many people as possible in my pockets please, I'm really freaked out as I don't like anything to do with eyes.
I know some people will be busy in Hileena's pockets this morning so it will be a long day but I'm sure you'll manage with all the supplies you bring.
Good luck Hileena, will be thinking of you this morning xx
Thanks in advance to all you lovely people,
Sue x

Unlike the majority of the population us arthritics have mastered the art of being in various places at the same or very similar times so you can count on those of us who remember all the appointments to be there! The very best of luck for this afternoon, I am sure all will be well and I hope the recovery time passes smoothly. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi
I am in your pocket for this as I have had both of my eyes done. You really have nothing to worry about and the end result is amazing.
I suggest that you get a pair of sunglasses ready for the morning as the daylight will seem very bright for a few days.
If you need to know anything else please contact me.

Thanks everyone for your support, couldn't have done it without you. Back home already, was first on list (that's a first as well, usually last), all went ok, didn't have sedation, staff were lovely, especially the guy who held my hand and stroked it while op was done, it helped by taking my mind off it, they also play relaxation music. Well done guys, this is what the NHS is all about and should be for everyone.

Hi Sue
Glad you are home and that the guy who held your hand and talked to you made you feel more relaxed.
Have a nice cuppa now and relax for a while.

Glad it went well Sue, what a relief that you were first on the list and did not have to sit there worrying.
You take things easy and just relax now and follow the instructions, I am sure you will be pleased with the results.
My mum had them done and the team were so kind to her too. Makes all the difference doesn’t it.

Delighted to hear everything went so smoothly. Hope you make a good recovery too. Do you have a patch or anything on? Big hugs, Rita.0
