Beautiful Autumn colours

Have a look at the beautiful photos of Autumn colours on this link. The trees have been at their most colourful in the past few weeks, and the reflections in the water make them even more stunning. It inspires me to want to paint, but reflections in water are quite tricky.

The colours everywhere are amazing, my back garden is looking very pretty with the reds from the berries and the golden yellow colours and the rust colours from the tree's so beautiful. And I'm surprised how many birds are about still. My garden gets like an animal kingdom what with the birds, bubba (the cat) and the squirral family bombing about there are 3 of them. And a dog fox came in our back garden a while a go I'm always watching. :shock:0

I love to see beautiful skies like that, Tone. I'm trying to paint a picture of a sunset over some mountains at present, using a photo for reference.
I drove home through the Derbyshire countryside today, and the colours of the trees in the sunshine were stunning, so I can understand that you miss the autumn colours. It makes me glad to be alive0 -

These are stunning. I love Bolton Abbey but have never seen it like this. Maybe I don't 'see' properly. And Glencoe just looked gloomy when we were there. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks Julie, I could certainly try. Here's an Autumn scene which I painted recently.
