Hi all hope you are all as well as u can be
Well at last my house is back to normal after 2 weeks of upheaval. as some of you know my daughter had an acl reconstruction knee op 2 weeks ago and has been staying with us. she went back to her own place last night and although OH and I dont regret having her around for this period of time but it's oh so nice to get back to just the 2 of us and the dog.
Stay positive always👍xx

She's doing well Tracey she has had a few very emotional days it's was more the frustration of having to take it easy and rest more than anything else I think. But she's getting there. It was nice havivg her around but as you say it's lovley to have to house to our selves again, although she will be with us again next wednesday for the nigt at least as she had a wound check at our doctors as we registered her as a temporary patient whilst she was here and on this weeks wound check one of the three wounds had not quite healed and she has another check on thursday of next week.
Trouble is Val we are very used to having the house to our selves.

We're used to the two of us too: my ma came for a fortnight recently and oh the upheaval. It was manageable when I was younger and not so arthritic but now? Total nightmare.

I hope your daughter will be OK and be sensible - a wound not healing properly is not a good thing. Enjoy the peace and quiet! DD

you did your bit - you helped your daughter when she needed you and now she will manage ok on her own. I bet you are ringing her regularly though??

Glad you, Oh and doggy are enjoying your 'peace' back
