Did anyone see the recent panorama programme on benefit cheats? It was filmed in my local borough of Hillingdon . At one point they were checking on car drivers using a blue badge without the badge owner in the car and they caught out quite a few. Needless to say they all pleaded ignorant and most were abusive.I often try to park (with my badge)in one of the car parks they were filming in. Now I know why I can never get a space!

    Hi Elizabeth,

    Yes I watched it, unbeliveable they really don't care.
    The stories they come it with are ridiculous, makes you laugh they get so defensive when they get caught out!
    It happens all the time in our Tesco, I really wish the store would do something about it but they never do.
    It's mostly the younger people that park there and they are perfectly capable of walking also young mothers with there children again capable of walking. Not to mentiion they have there own spaces. When my kids were young we didn't have mother and todler spaces like they do now.
    I'll get off mhy soap box now lol!

    So many people are frauding the system and the genuine people have to fight...Something is not right???

    I saw the panorama programme, but as my husband says they only just seem to be skimming the ice berg with the ones they have caught there are so many doing it and the punishment is so small they just seem to pay it and carry on doing it! And as everyone agrees it's the real claimants like you and I that suffer .

    Toni I do all my shopping online now. It is so much easier. Only need my badge for GP and hospital visits nowadays.
