Cortisone Injection lasted a week

I had my first cortisone injection a week last Friday, and for a week the world was a much better place, no tablets at all for a week. But then over the weekend the pain has started again, until today I am back to taking the co-codamol every 4 hours and was on the diclofenac this morning. Those of you who've had injections, is that it, or is there any chance that it will all settle down again?

So my next appointment isn't until 20th December, do I cope with the pain until then, or should I try to get an earlier appointment.

I'm just not sure what to do, and feeling very down having thought that I would be pain free for at least a couple of months, if not longer.

    Poor poor you Suzyg

some of us are not so lucky with those there jabs...

and even if this is the best you are going to get this time.....doesn't mean the next jab won't be better.
