Hello all, sorry not been around for last few weeks, busy with life and stuff lol
I saw my rheumy nurse today as the rheumatologist was booked up to eyeballs, and after seeing hamatologist yesterday they thankfully ruled out nasties like leukemia..phew!
I have today been diagnosed with reactive arthritis, and because it is being tad stubborn i am to start sulfasazine ( or however it is spelt) with prednisolone continuing (despite fact i look like a moose lol damn weight gain in face, neck
So after 9 months i now know...they said it normally goes away in 6 months, mine has not...so it may stay, some do stay for life, others not, so its wait and see thing...so i start my fortnightly blood tests oh joy...and i feel like i have right to be here now lol..
Hope your all well as can be, nice to be back, even with depressing news, you have all helped me i past and a big thankyou for that ((hugggssss))
Love senna xxxx

Ah to have a diagnosis... I am so glad you have, it helps more than people realise.
Good luck, hope it eases soon.xxClare xx0 -
Its great that you have a diagnosis now......it always makes me feel better even if I'm still as sore
I'm waiting for the results of a CT scan and that is driving me mad more than actually knowing what is wrong {apart from OA everywhere }

Hi, I'm glad you've got your diagnosis and that the really big things were ruled out, that must have made you feel a bit better!
Hope the new treatment works for you nice and quickly!

Hi Senna glad you have a diagnosis at last, I know it's not good news but at least you can say 'I have...' instead of worrying and not knowing what is wrong with you, now you have answers. Good luck and hope when meds are sorted you can enjoy your life as best as you can. bubbadog/Amanda.0
