have just been to Donna Nook up the coast from skeggy and mablethorpe.
It's where the seals beach to pup every year.

More to follow when I get back to the caravan. I'm currently being thrown about in dad's car, he's a terrible driver :shock: I don't want to look.. Lol

There are loads of seals there :shock: They didn't do a show for you then with an inflatable ball

That pup was born while we were there.. Well, two minutes before we got to that part anyway..
They make such a weird cry when they call out for their mum's.. It's a spooky sound..

This is from last year. We just happened to turn up as the RAF boys were training. Donna Nook is actually a RAF training place. The jets were flying in very low and dropping 'bombs' on targets just on the shoreline... The seals were not one bit fazed...

I reckon this female will have had her pup by now, she looked ready to explode.. We could see the baby moving inside her...

I enjoyed the photos and the video Tony, although a little bit quesey. They do look fit to burst!

Sorry you have to put up with the bad driving. Just shut your eyes and hope for the best!

Thing is, while we are here, there is me, Janet, Toni & Chris plus Mum & Dad.. Dad has a seven seater car so it makes sense for us all to go in his wherever we are going. Think I'll sit right in the back next time though.. Lol

They're going into Skeggy town. I'm staying in bed, in agony.. I didn't take my crutches to Donna Nook yesterday, not much point as it's quite awkward ground, or it used to be.. As it happens now they've re-done the path :roll: Besides... My elbows and hands have been really hurting since yesterday morning and using the crutches would have made them worse.. Lol
Oh the joys...

I've been in bed all day today, in a lot of pain. Hoping that I'll be better by tomorrow. Toni & Chris are going back home to wales tomorrow but we are hoping that they will be living in Leeds within a month.

Mind you, I need to rest now, in pain again.
Home tomorrow, back to my own bed.. I miss my orthopedic bed a lot..
Don't think this bed is doing me any good to be honest..
