Is it worth a shot and do you buy it or get it from G.P? What strength do people take?

I think GPs rarely prescribe as there is no proven evidence that it works. My feelings are that those who swear by it are those who like to think they have OA (I reckon they don't, it's just the twinges associated with aging). That doesn't mean you won't have any benefit, you won't know until you try and as val said, try for some while, maybe even six months. I went down that route for a while, I helped line someone's pockets and didn't do myself any harm but it didn't do any good either. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

You could get gluco on script as I know someone who did and he maintained it helped with his OA in the knee. He is now on the list for a TKR. The gp no longer prescribes these on script, because like Val says, NICE dictated otherwise.

AC do have some literature on Vits - you can download it from this site or call the helplines, have a chat with them and they can send you the literature if you prefer.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.
