Update on THR

Had a phone call today got to go for my pre-op on the 30th she said the op should be 4/6 weeks after but with Xmas coming soon it could be a lille later oooh getting a bit worried now :!:

    I can imagine your nerves as these phone calls and letters do tend to get the butterflies going in the tum.

    the worse bit is worrying about it! After you have had the op and got through the first couple of weeks of post op - you will be wondering why you didn't have it sooner! Honest! (I've had both hips done.) Imagine a life without that deep, gnawing bone pain .... Use the waiting time to get as organised as possible - look at MJkings thread on Hospital stays.

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
