Got my ice grips today meaning to get them for some time now but the weather has been so good that I left it until now. I would dread falling over in the ice as I would end up breaking some bones.

Hi I've got some somewhere but havent got them out yet
I got a pair of boots from one of those little catalogues that you get in magazines. It had a pair of boots, fur lined, a little sock above the top of it which keeps your leg warm and it has got little spikes on the heels. So you use them as ordinary boots {they are velcro fastening which is good} and they are really warm and when its icey you put a coin or something under the spike in the heel and flip it down.l..havent tried that bit yet but for £18 I'm quite happy with them

Had a look on Amazon yesterday and they do all different sizes and one company does a 'one size' set. You just need to look at other people selling them. Hope that helps anyone else interested in buying some.

Stick/crutch grips can be found on the AllGoodIdeas website, that's where I got mine from - they are very easy to flip down and up. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
