Hi all, Havent been around for a while, dont know if any of you remember one of my last posts when i said i was having an off day, well that off day lasted nearly two weeks.I started feeling sick at the weekend, then needing the toilet,so for nearly 48 hours i was either on the toilet or being sick, later when all that subsided youve guessed it all my affected joints started playing up,so it was on the steriods for a week, had to up the pain dullers, didnt go out for two weeks was nearly climbing the walls,so am on the mend now eating better and have been able to get out and about.went to orthotics clinic last week for a review(shoes are great can walk pain free when i have them on)so consultant said i can get another pair so am having something a little more girly which i get just before xmas.
DD cardigan finished just got to wash it.
If i have missed anybodies birthday sorry hope you had a good day, anyone who had ops hope all went well.
I have been thinking of you all and hoping you are all keeping well.Mig

I remember your post, you had an awful time, but I'm glad you'r feeling so much better.

You sound so positive now. I think, sometimes when we have been really ill we appriecate feeling well so much and realise that we take our health for granted. Lots of love Sue xxxxx

    Aw dear Mig,

You have not been forgotten. I am sorry that you have been through the mill but so good to see you back on the forum  and hope that you will continue on the up. You always support others on here. It makes such a difference when one starts to feel better and able to get out and about. Good for you. Great news that the shoes improve your walking and even better news that you can get another more as you say, girly design. :grin:I'm pleased as I expect you are, that you have got your appetite back with the festive season soon upon us.

You look after yourself, my lovely and it is so nice to see you back with us again.

    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Mig! Hey, it's lovely to hear from you again but I am so sorry you have had such a rough time, poor, poor you. It's good to hear that you are on the up now, I am glad your first pair of shoes have worked so well for you and I am sure the second will do the same. As for the cardigan - wow! It's done! I am sure it will come up lovely after the wash but please don't wear it when eating a potentially messy dinner, eg spaghetti bolognese. It won't look quite so grand with a Jackson Pollock inspired decoration of tomato sauce. DD
