have not brought a news paper for years but the drivel put me off and also the drivel that is on the news when did we all become at a level where we had to have things explained to us instead of just telling us both sides of the argument so we can decide for our selves val

Bad news always spreads faster than good, I'm sure it's a lot to do with jealousy, when the news is of someone who's better off than them they just love them to fail it's why so many numpties are interested in celeb's they know full well these people have skeletons in their closets so curtain twitch knowing that many of them will be exposed or fail at some point in time.
Also a lot of people are paranoid and have an inbuilt unhealthy attraction to bad news in general, the ghoul resides in a lot of them as well, it's why you always get big traffic accidents on the other side of a motorway where ones already happened people love to see others in the s**t and will slow down to in a hope to see something horrible.
As for Charlie Booker he's OK but can get a bit to much at times but his series how TV runined your life had some good moments.0 -
Well, one is true, we only get the newspapers we pay for! Give an award winning journalist a month to write a story and it will be good, ask a red top journalist to write a new story everyday and he will resort to the easy way.0
