Ugghh, another Rheumy appointment today. With all that happened with this latest flare (which was definately my worst) I'm almost dreading this appointment.
I'll fill you all in later, if there are any pocket dwellers around I would be very grateful.

You're all wonderful and it really DID help me to be brave and stay calm.
Well I'll give you the shortened version, my inflammation levels are higher than they've ever been before, the Consultant thinks that the infected wound on my shoulder (from the operation) has travelled down into the shoulder joint. The steroid injection has masked the infection and the methotrexate and enbrel have made it worse. They admitted me onto a day ward as they want me to have an urgent scan, after lunch I repeatedly nagged the nurse if I could go home and come back for the scan (I'm 5 mins away from hospital) and the Rheumy agreed so I'm home until I have the scan. I've also been taken off Celebrex and put on Brufen retard 800mg 2 a day, anyone else been on this? the tabs are difficult to take as they're huge, but if they help then I don't care.
