I am now 20 months post TKR and I am now getting a stinging pain through my knee cap!

The scar also appears to be stinging, has anybody else had this or know what it is?

The kneecap thing? I have no idea. The scar thing, however, could be nerves re-growing, they take a while to do that after an op. When the scar is stinging gently drum your fingertips on the afected area, this stimulates the nerves and helps the re-growth. DD

    Morning,

Sorry I can't help but I do hope things settle down soon.
If it is causing you problems I would go see your gp, hopefully he will help.

    Take care

If in doubt, get it checked out but I think DD's right. I had something similar after at least one of mine. The nerves can take a long time to get back to normal. I was told to gently rub the scar.

it all got worse today, I woke up and my hands are all stiif/tight and my wrists and feet are painful.

I have been told i have OA, but it may be something else playing up as well?
