Hi all

I have finally been able to see a rheumy! After having had IA, OA and now RA I am finally able to see him/her.

Does it sound weird to say that I'm excited about seeing him/her? I really want to start the correct treatment.

xx

Ah, I suspect you may lose one diagnosis in that case, I hope the rheumatologist agrees it's RA as they are usually the ones to diagnose it. Inflammatory is the term used when nothing more specific can be attributed to what's happening (but I am sure you know that already from reading the forum). I was an IA for some time until the PA was definitively diagnosed, so now I only have the two. I wish you well. DD

PS Clare? I wish there was an emoticon for that image!

    Hello Pinkbritishstars.

So glad you will have a rheumatology appt at last because the inflammatory arthritis's really do need proper diagnosis and management. And I completely understand your excitement about the prospect of getting some proper help. Really hope your appointment comes through soon.
