My Mri appointment came through yesterday..

9.30 and i am having both Brain and spinal cord done one after the other so that will save time..

Hoping nothing to sinister is found lol,, i know there may be a few less brain cells :lol: i can cope with that lol..

Hope you can sing me a few songs while i am in the tunnel lol..

Traluvie, I promise you, you would not want me singing to you. Heaven only knows what havoc it would play with your musical brain cells. I do wish you all the best though and hope it goes well.

    Hi Tracy,
    Hope everything goes OK.
I asked for them to play anything but RAP....and yes...they played RAP.
No different to the machine noise to me....in fact I would of preffered the machine...but obviously couldn't knock the earphones off.
I'm 99%sure that this affected my brain...even though the scan was neck and upper thoratic back.
Sure it was done on purpose. May

    Hi Tracy,

Hope it all goes well, I'll be there, but no singing, it would sound worse than Rap more like C**p. Good luck,

I've had a few MRIs in my time but never any music, just headphones. I've never been in the tunnel, just fed in as far as needed for the knees to be scanned. I do remember my feet getting cold. We'll be there to cheer you on, I promise. DD

    Hi Tracy,
Oh will be with you on the 15th, not sure about the singing though. A bit before your time but Hubby knows a few words of Charlie Drakes ‘my boomerang won’t come back’ might not be the most soothing....well you did ask.:lol:

You can bring in your own CD for an MRI, I brought in Enya for mine, fortunately, mines only lasted 30mins.

Its the trying to stay still for that length of time thats the hard part.

    Hi Tracey

Will be ready for pocket duty on the 15th., I hope the scan goes well.

I took a cd to listen to but they had a radio playing through the phones so I opted for that. Although the flippin thing is that noisey i couldn't hear the music and conversation of the radio.
Make sure they turn the volume up

    Take care

    I want to break free??

My brain has froze, does not want to work, any ideas??
