    Hi,
Sorry..I really don't know. Have you given your employer permission to discuss your medical condition with your doctor.

    Hi,
I have a blue badge but also get DLA as I'm registered disabled. Have you actually been registered as being disabled?
Regarding my work they've been very understanding but I do not drive for a living (work in an office). If the DVLA say you can't drive at all this is going to cause major problems for you I'd guess. Do you drive a lorry or a van? I know that some of these are automatics so if that's the problem could they not allocate an automatic to you to use? I'm sure you'll have some transferable skills so they should make all possible efforts to find you alternative work under the Equality Act. Access to Work might also be useful to speak to.
Sorry I can't be of more practical help but I wish you good luck.
    Grace.
