I think sometimes you have to try just to be sure in your own mind. We all hope it will 'just go away', I know I do. Lets hope the infusion works for her.

I am sorry your daughter has had to start the meds again. Well done to her though for trying.

I agree with the others, but your poor girl, how horrid to feel better then have it all creeping back. I often flirt with the idea of giving it all up and having a break from the constant drugs round, but they do make some sort of a difference and I realise the doctors are trying to help so I too have to play my part. I hope the meds bring her some relief and soon, and the more she takes hopefully the better the joints will feel. DD

hi at least she was ok for a few weeks, she is back on mtx and had to go to hospital yesterday for a steriod injection, the trouble is that when she felt well she thought she could conquor the world and took on another job which is very manual work i dont think this helped but she still gets up and goes, yesterday was a bad day she could not lift her arms she was in so much pain, this is why she had to have a steriod injection, the infusion should be after xmas. but all credit to her even when she is in agony she carries on, she will not let it defiate her, its just so heartbreaking to see my beautifull daughter in so much pain x:cry: . thanks to you all for your comments xxxx and support xx karen

Oh dear, arthritis is a cruel master. It deceives you then, when you dare to challenge it, it snaps back and bites harder. I suspect that this new job is not going to be the right thing for her now, what will she do? Your poor girl - and poor you, what a worry. It's great to hear that your girl has spirit but that can be a double-edged sword. Let us know how she gets on, please - and how you are too. DD
