I see that snow is forecast in some areas today. Is it snowing where you live? I'd love a white Christmas.

I'm actually getting in the Christmas spirit! Because I'm sufferiing with a flare up at the moment (damn hips & back!) I've had to rest so been writing out Christmas Cards and wrapping presents! Which made it feel all Christmassy. My OH is even putting the tree up this weekend!! And I've been going on about getting some Icicle lights for the front of the house, and even made a joke about getting a giant inflateable Santa Clause for the front lawn!
It's really nice after last Christmas with us still morning the passing of our dad and we actually cancelled Christmas! But we know Dad would of wanted us to carry on and have fun, so this year I want to have a fabulous Christmas I even got the OH & bubba stockings to hang up!! x:-D

    Hi Bubbadog

I'm sorry that you lost your Dad near Christmas. I know what that is like because both my parents died at Christmas in two consecutive years, my Mum on the 18th Dec, and my Dad on Christmas Eve. They were two very sad years indeed, but life must go on and they wouldn't want us to feel miserable at Christmas. I hope that you will have a fabulous Christmas this year.

    Joan

I've been hanging up some more decorations. Not sure where those rather drunken snowpeople came from, but I guess that they visited the Cane and Able x:roll:

I will be venturing into central Birmingham.. its Friday and Christmas so it is going to be hectic, meeting up with half a dozen ex squaddies, throwing down some beer then on to the german market for some bratty's and more beer. No doubt I will regret it tomorrow
