Hi all
Sorry Ive not been around been so busy..and ill....and tired I have glanced on and off but not posted for a bit.
Tony (TJT) I have not forgotten good luck tomorrow with your gastro appointment.
DD Im glad you are staying on Humira and youre depo steroid helped a bit
My Love and best wishes to everyone else I will catch up at some point.
My rheumy has confirmed my fears (but also allayed the one that I had as going nuts, hyperchondriac etc..)some of my finger joints have indeed twisted much more so since coming off biologics although they were already twisting while on them so maybe that doesnt necessarily mean I made the wrong decision there. My mTX injection is being increased to 25mg. Still supportive and lovely as ever.
My joints are definately post steroid now painful and stiff but at least I got through the weeekend and my daughter had an amazing 18th birthday. My friends were all amazing and helped me, especially my besty who drove me around like miss daisy all day saturday so I could take painkillers not suited to driving (although Im sure thats an opinion not fact )
Im still waiting for appointments for all my gastro tests  hope to have all them done by end January .
Question.. I rang my GPs for my flu jab last week to be told no longer necessary for methotrexate takers?? I can have it if I want ? discuss it with practice nurse( the one Im seeing is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.. mmm yummy chocolate ...sorry lost train of thought there... ) anyone else heard this or is the practice trying to save money? maybe I should email my rheumy nurse?
anyway fingers have had enough sending gentle((((())))) to all who want or need them I will try be around a bit more in the coming weeks I have not forgotten you all
Theresa xx
