Well I've been back to docs this morning to review my pain meds. She couldn't believe I still in so much pain after 5 weeks, so she has put me on Oxycodine ,that's the 1 st time ive ever had to produce ID and countersign for a prescription.
She also can't believe physio hasn't informed orthodedic about my knee, so she is phoning hospital lunch time to get me in for xray to find out whats going on with my knee. Fingers crossed for me please

Wow babytiger, to be fast tracked like that means she is concerned about something, I truely hope it shows nothing too serious on the x-ray. To have to countersign for a pescription and show I.D means it is a controlled drug like morphine, I know because I have to countersign and show I.D when I have my Oromorph and M.S.T. Let us know how you get on when you have your x-ray and I will be thinking of you.

    Hello,
I'm so pleased that you are getting the help you need from your gP. I hope the new meds will knock the pain out for you, even if you find they make you a bit knocked out!
    Good luck, love Suexxx x;)

    hi B.T,

really glad the gp has got that arranged for you and its kinda surprising they haven't done it before really.... just read your other post and that machine thing sounds really good....

i on oxynorm and yep tis sign here... prove who you are etc but if you can get the script from the gp its just handed over to you and you only have to sign for it at the chemists.

the oxy's have helped a bit for me and hope they will you as well. hang in there cus it does sound like things are at last moving in the right direction. Cris x

Well that's my xrays done, she kept saying can I straighten my leg into back of machine. NO and then on bed could I lift my leg at an angle NO she had to get a spongy thingy to put under my leg. So lets see next week what out come will be.

    Hi Babytiger
Hope its nothing serious ....yes it does mean thats a controlled drug. When I was on MST {morphine} for a fractured pelvis I had to sign for that.
Sounds as if your GP is on the ball
    Let us know what happens
    Love
