Yep 10 days and counting lol! Actually I've been having a better week this week, although I think you get used to a level of pain don't you?! I've made a detailed list of all aches and pains and everything else, the rheumy wont know whats hit him/her, perhaps i've been a little too thorough lol! Something new for the list this week is awful awful neck pain, ouch!! Today, I could hardly get out of bed and ibuprofen is not touching it but hey ho, you just have to get on with. I'm hoping the neck pain is just a coincidence and i've slept in a draught or something.

Anyways, I just wanted to report in, I've been reading through the other posts, you all have so much to deal with! It really encourages me that I'm not alone although wish we were all meeting on a diff site, if you see what I mean.

Hope everyones getting sorted for Christmas, i've been super organised just in case I'm unable to get to the shops and internet shopping has really saved the day! I'll be writing my cards this afternoon, fingers permitting. x;) xx Annalou

    Hi Annalou
You're so right when you say that you wish we could meet on another site, but's that life............. x:(
We are a very supportive crowd here on the forum, and you are never alone. We all share common experiences.
Hope all goes well for you for the rheumy appointment. You did the right thing writing everything down, nothing more annoying coming out of your appointment with a list of questions you wished you had asked... x:-x
Bombard the rheumy nurse with questions,it will encourage them to get things right so you don't have to go back too often......... x:roll:

    Hi Annalou

l do the same v v v wise to plan ahead and then you can pace yourself if you are struggling nearer to the festive season x;)

Today it must be 9 days to go so nearly only a week away x:lol:

Very good idea too to do that list for the rheumatologist. It helps him and saves time and so you dont get home cross with yourself because you have forgotten something.

    Take care

    Love

Yep just a couple more bits to get and I'm done! Phew!!!

I'm just worried that if I don't have a list and I'm having a good day on my appointment day, then all the pain and frustration of the last years, months and weeks, will fly out the window, it's weird how pain tricks you into believing you're going balmy at times!!!

    Will keep you all posted.

    hi Annalou

flower even if your 'fine' that day the rumo will take a detailed history and tests etc so don't worry its not a case of be unwell or be told go away.

take the list by all means but the rumo will ask you lots as well and hang in there cus its only 8.5 days now so not long to wait. don't forget we do half decent pocket duties and fingers crossed you will get some help soon. Cris x

Just wanted to wish you well for your appt. We wait so long for them and have all our hopes rested on them, it can be quite emotional at times and draining.

Being well prepared is important, and your list will be helpful. I always go blank once in the room!!!!
