memory bubbles or senility?.

Does anyone get what I call memory bubble, little snippets of memory about fims or thnigs that are way down deep in the mind that come from way back in my past, for an example, I'm watching a film I saw as a very young child, it's called the old man of the sea by Ernest Hemingway and stars Anthony Quinn, I remeber seeing it while I was really young but the other day for no reason it popped into my head , so now I've got the DVD from Amazon I remeber little of it and in my mind it was in black and white but it's in colour!??, maybe I'm going off to la la land bit by mental bit, so is it senility creeping in or just what happens when you get older???.

    I know exactly what you mean mell and I think it's one of the normal aging things. Senility is surely when you DON'T recognise what you are doing/saying/thinking. DD

    did someone mention Bubbles? I have a head full of them. I called our neighbour Frank today, happens to be Paul and we have lived next door for years. Who is Frank??
