hello im back after a while of abstinent

Well its been a gruelling couple of months with dentists hospital and o/t and now they have seen photos of swelling in feet aand hands finally r/a confirmed have been referred to physio for some walking sticks to help as so painfull, the doc took me of predislone as didnt work but my rhuemy nurse mentioned today about an injection have no idea what she was saying or going on about as my body is full of mind altering drugs and painkillers, got to carry on with mtx till nxt app with consultant 6 wks times, feel totally down and useless :sad:

    The early days ARE tough, soraya, but you will get through them and I hope the meds begin to make a difference soon. The injection she was talking about was possibly a depo-medrone, an injected form of steroid? That can be very helpful for those who don't respond that well to the tablets. As for the mind-altering meds perhaps some dosages need to be tinkered with? Have a chat with your GP and see what he says. Anyhoo, it's nice to hear from you again and I hope things improve soon. DD

    so glad you are back and at least getting some help.

    I have had the jab in the bum it was fine - no probs at all :smile:

    Don't dissapear again will you x;)
