Hello Everyone.
I am Sue dachshunds sister.
If you dont mind I thought I would come on here and thankyou to everyone for helping me when Joan was in hospital.
I thought I would tell you something that might give you a lough.
I have a year and a half old dachshund called Lexi. before I had her she lived in a flat with no garden so she loves her walks and she loves being off the lead in a field, she has always been good to catch. so there we are this morning in the pooring rain siting in the middle of a field on mobility scooters that should not get wet trying to catch Lexi but no she would not come she had found that if she looked around a bit she could find bits to eat. then a lady came along and walked up her but Lexi was scared and ran to me. I told her she would be having a muzzel for christmas because next time she might cross a road to get food,
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Love Sue.
take care
joan xx

Hello Sue! It's lovely to hear from you, I hope you are as well as you can be. Well, what can I say? I think that Lexi is quite definitely a lttle character and yes - as Barbara says, a long retractable lead could be a very useful thing! As for keeping your scooters dry in the rain - isn't that a very hard thing to do? Please take care my lovely, I hope you both have a good Christmas. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Hello again, Sue, and lovely to hear from you. Lexi sounds like a dog who definitely has a mind of her own. It was a lovely picture though, you two on your scooters in the rain while Lexi did her own thing. I hope all 3 of you have a lovely Christmas.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Sue,

how you doing and how nice to see you again

 Lexi was up to no good then  its horrible isn; it when your dog basically ignores you....

when i first go Haz he would not come back but he would play chase me.... i once had 3 hours of chase me before i could get him in :lol: he was so embarrassing and here if anything he was worse cus it was a game and he loved playing it.....

i kinda cured him by having a 15' training lead trailing behind him  as he bounced about me saying chase me he forgot the rope was also going round me and cus it was 15' i could stand n the end  he comes back now but we do still play chase me but on my terms f that makes sense?

You look after your self and hope you have a Happy Christmas and a good 2012. tis good to see you flower. hugs and a cappuccino Cris xx
