Anyone else feeling like me - completely browned off?

I have confirmed Bursitis of left hip plus the OA in all my other weight bearing joints is playing up. Have had one physio session on hip by a very enthusiastic, young, keen, eager physio who took particular delight in telling me that "Bursitis of the hip is extremely painful you know". I could have cheerfully crowned her! As the hip muscle is so badly inflamed and spasmed it's also made my hamstring spasm as well so she had two "hot spots to work on" - her words not mine. I came away from that session practically screaming in pain and badly bruised. And - I get to "enjoy" the process all over again on the 28th! Deep joy. Waiting for an MRI now on the left hip.
I've managed to completely knacker my thumb nail last week at Tesco by merely putting it in the wrong place against my car boot shelf and it split zig-zag fashion about two thirds across the nail and roughly a third up. So I drove home from T**co with blood dripping from this thumb, barely being able to manouvre my automatic gear stick into the right position as I can't put any pressure on the thumb pad. Poorly thumb is now bandaged up. Have been told by a nurse that I can't have a false nail put on it, it's got to grow out and keep it covered in the meantime...
As well as the bones, hip, and thumb I've got the cold from hell. Now look like Rudolph on a bad day x:roll:
So if any of you fancy taking one of my dodgy joints, a knackered thumb nail or a really manky 'orrible cold do please let me know. All free to a good home!
Grace.

Oh Grace, I am not only browned off but burned at the edges. Arthritis does this to us - but, despite its best efforts we have this annoying habit of forcing our way through this dross and coming out the other side - and I have no doubt that you will do that too. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Oh my God that sounds awful.
So much to deal with and all at the same time, sorry you feel so bad. Sending you some good wishes and hope you feel better very soon.
In the mean time, stay tucked up in the warm and make sure the family keep you in a steady supply of tea and biscuits.
p.s. I often have pain in my hip and sometimes wake up with a limp but then it goes away just as quickly as it came. (i'm sure my work mates think i'm putting it on lol)0 -
Thanks everyone.
Cold's a bit better today so hope the worst may be over. I can cope when it's one thing at a time but when the "balls" are coming your way that fast you "can't return the serve" it kind of starts to overwhelm you rather.
Petals - your remedy sounds wonderful -tea/bikkies being served up. Unfortunately as my partner has ME and it's bad at the moment I'm also trying to look after him so I'm kind of on my own for this. However, two early nights have helped and I think I'll be in bed again tonight by 8pm. Getting lovely cuddles from my cats though - which helps a lot.
I'll get there.
Thanks again everyone.
