Hi all,
Haven't been posting much for a few years, over last 3 years I've had six ops, three life saving, one was very close to end for me, got a shock when Consultant told me that I'd had septicaemia after an op and he didn't think I'd live. Diagnosed with various new things but arthur stayed. Went to a Rheumy for first time as I've had oa for around 25years and told things would get worse. Rheumy was going to give me Pamidronate but didn't really want to because she said it was horrible. Then after I was diagnosed with a new disease she was pleased, not that I had disease but I couldn't have infusion. Then saw her colleague and went to see my Dr. who told me Rheumy had said no oa showed up on x rays. Where was Rheumy looking x:-o I have had various x rays over years and all show chronic oa so I want that Rheumy to tell me where he was looking. My own Dr. hates giving meds for anything so rely on other Drs.
At least I'm here for Christmas x:-D Thanks to Jean who talked me through things. Hope you have a nice calm Christmas.
Love

Hi Vonski
Lovely to see a post from you.
Its sad that you have so much to contend with and also to have been through so much, it just isnt fair.
Hoping you have a good Christmas and if there is one thing I will wish for - its for you to have a MUCH HEALTHIER 2012.

Dear Vonski
I know you have been dealt an extremely raw deal over the years and I have nothing but praise and courage to give you and Mr. Vonski for getting through it all. We have kept in touch through thick and thin ...... mostly. I do think about you often and it is good that you have posted on the forum today and have been able to talk things through with Jean. Thank you for replying to my pm. I will get back to you shortly.
Love to you all

Dear Vonski
When you feel mad and want a rant this is just the place for you to call in - you will always be made very welcome. You know that, don't you, though?
Just finished the vegs and tatties for later on today. The "children" went to the pub and left cinderella at the kitchen sink, I didn't mind but they were soon home - must be getting old cos they are in their 30's now! Few more glasses of red and then we had to push daughter past the pressies as it was gone midnight. Still a kid at heart in some respects. x;)
You nurse that drambuie my lovely and enjoy your day.
Loads of love
