I have been in so much pain. I have Rummy in my spine, which the specialist said it would become Ankoilosing Spondylitis (sorry I cant spell).

Lately I have had a flare and this has caused so much pain in the bottom of the back, which I have been given steroids for. This has helped but lately the pain in in the groin and hip areas. This is very unusual for me as its always been in the lower back, never on the sides or at the front.

Can anyone shed some light or something that might help?

Thank you, I hope you have all had a good Christmas xxxxxxxxxx

For me, groin pain has always meant hip problems which can also be felt in the lower back at the affected side. This is not to say that that's what's wrong with you, Cutieclaire. If you have back problems to start with it could be that you're putting pressure on your hip by walking awkwardly. It could be lots of things. Your rheumatologist would be the best person to ask.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi
Yes I hope you get this checked out.
Pain in one place can affect other joints.....at the moment they are trying to figure out whether my pain is coming from the hip and making my back sore or coming from my back and making my hip sore :?: :?:
