Hi haven't been on for ages i know. I have been to the snow dome today. I guess you are thinking is she mad. Snow and arthritis can be a dangerous mix as it is but adrenalin tubing !. I have never been to the snow dome before. My son and Daughter have never been on a sledge maybe ice skating once or twice. I loved my childhood Christmases. I went to the park and went down the bank every year. My dad made a great wooden sledge at his woodwork factory and presented it to us for Christmas.
I decided to give my children a new experience. My son went junior sledging and junior tubing. My hubby looked after him while, me my daughter and her boyfriend tried Adrenalin tubing.
We loved it. I found the tubing so heavy to lift and we had five goes. I would not have done this a few years ago on my previous tablets walking was a challenge in its self. My condition is stable on laflu. I thought do it while i can.
My condition will worsen but i have tried this and feel proud. I will not do it again though i loved it. It is very risky you fill in a company disclaimer no surprises there. We all enjoyed the experience very costly though. We have all been asleep but Ive stayed in bed longer and can feel the pain but i am happy
Hope my roumy is not reading this . New year greeting to everyone best wishes joanne
Joanne

iT WAS MORE SILLY LOOKING BACK AS ON SATURDAY HAD FLOATERS ON EYE LOOKED ON INTERNET READ NOT TO SERIOUS BUT MUST GET IT CHECKED DECIDED TO WIAT FOR TO TODAY AND BEEN TO HOSPITAL AND THEY TELL ME. Sorry turned off caps lock not rewriting as i should be resting. I had hole in retina
It took six hours five doctors opinions. My hole some they leave some need doing guess what i was in gray area as they could not decided on own as 50 percent of doctors would fifty would not perform laser to repair but as my tear was close to blood vessel.
This caused bleeding to eye as fluid pulled away at back of eye and it tore my vessal making it bleed and make a hole. The tubing did not cause it but knowing what i do now i certainly would not have gone Saturday. I know i said on my resolutions for me to try new experience i did not mean laser treatment  well going to rest again thankyou for repys joanne

    Hi Joanne,

Well done for going though! I reckon new things to try is a good one and sometimes we get away with stuff far more than wee think we will... mind in my case sometimes I don't but I still do it anyway

Glad they are doing that eye and please keep in touch and let us know how it goes for you. Be thinking of you. Cris xx
