My Mum has her big cancer op tomorrow (the day before my birthday). It's been on her mind all over Christmas but the day has finally come. We are all a bit nervous for her as it will knock her for six. She's been really well since finishing the chemo and her hair has started to come back but she may need more chemo after the op.

So can everyone have positive thoughts and prayers for her tomorrow please. The positivity has seemed to work so far so keep it up!!

Thanks everyone.

I'll be overdoing it tomorrow cleaning the house in order not to think about it too much.

    Hi Jenzie,

Sending positive vibes for your Mum. Try not to worry she'll be a good, experienced hands. Be careful not to wear yourself out too as your Mum might need you to help a little afterwards.

Sending hugs to you and your Mum ((((( )))))

    Luv,
    Love, Legs x

Hiya thanks for the positive thoughts. Mum's op went really well and the surgeon was extremely pleased. Hoping she sleeps a bit more tonight as the wind and rain kept her awake most of the night but she's been up and about today. I'm very impressed as the surgeon cut her from her diaphram all the way down. Bless her.

My birthday was ok, had my hair cut (but soon resembled windswept and interesting) then had a cuppa with my Gran. My son had made me a card at nursery and then we had a nice meal this evening.

Thanks for the kind thoughts again, I'm positive it helps.

I'm another latecomer, I'm afraid. Good that it went well, though. I hope she continues to do well.
