Dear all,
Happy new year and I hope your wishes come true!

I've been on my anti TNF (golimumab )!for 3 months now.... And boy do I love what it's done! Not only am I back on the bike... But I think I'm better on it! Recovery seems to happen over night!

Anyway, I was worried over the festive period cos I had not got my drug... I am injecting on the 30th... Got it sorted today, they delivering it Thursday.. But my bionic nurse will be reassessing me on the 20 th...

Q. What will she want to see of me to keep me on it? Does she want me to bounce in, cheery joyful.. ( with no swollen tender joints ) ?

I'm sure she also mentioned reassessment s every 3 months...

Take care out there..
X

Well it is working and she will know that from your blood results and from what you tell her. And if you are having a 'break' and some symptoms return let her know and that will be double reassurance that it is working.

If it wasn't helping at all they would probably change you onto a new medication and that is part reason for the reassessment. But yours is doing well.

Glad to hear it has helped you so much,

    Elizabeth

    Thanks Elizabeth...
So, it's just an assessment to see if it's working or not.

I do feel a bit guilty cos it's like I'm normal... Not even a sniff or a cough since last February.
