Hi,
Well on one of your threads I said I would face up to my useless GP who is so clever she can diagnose me just by looking at my face....no bloods...no xrays and has never laid a finger on me.
Well on Tuesday night I was the last appointment and she was waiting to go home.I was in no rush.
As I pointed out to her my gran had RA my daughter has AS and she has had loads of bloods done.
I am now having bloods taken on Friday morning and she examined my hands and I'm going to have them Xrayed.RESULT.
I have to make an appointment to see her in 2 weeks when she is hoping for the results.
I am so hoping now for answers.I've only waited a year. Not long really...but annoying when nobody was taking any notice and things are getting worse.
Cris...you pushed me and I really want to know how much I appreciate it.
I hope you are not too bad at the moment.
I have had so much support from this forum and can't miss this opportunity to thank you all. May

Get in girl! That was not easy for you to do, I'm sure, but you did it and let's hope you hear sooner rather than later about what's what, yes? How's your sister getting on? And did Mr K cook Christmas lunch? DD

    Hi DD,
Sister will find out on Tuesday if she is going to have chemo....seems likely.
I have to literally tell this doc to listen to me and then she can speak.
Seems very ignorant of me but its the only way. After all she took no notice after I'd had the fall and I had to do the same thing 4 months later otherwise I would never have known I had a fractured vertabrae and OP.

Cris did say on a thread that I would never know what the problem was unless I did something....so I did.Things are just getting worse and I really needed that push.

Thanks all....I've got my FIND OUT asap hat on.
Oh...we went out for christmas lunch...I always had mum here and as we lost her in March I just couldn't face it without her. May

Good for you May, some of these GPs do need to go back to college if you ask me,
But now you are on the right track, and I wish you well with everything...and I will be thinking about your sister..
You take care of yourself xx
    Love
