Hi Everyone, Little ol' me is asking for pocket duties for Wednesday for what is now 2 appts I have. It was surpose to be 1 appt on Wednesday and another Thursday but rather go back and forth to the hospital they have now managed to do them the same day.
So I'm 1st going to the Alex hospital to see the O.T to be fitted for my wrist and thumb supports and then will be going to out patients to see the Gynocologist about my bowel and stomach and the chance it is Endrometriosis and to see if she will agree with my G.P and myself and do a laposcopy to see if it is.
I know the lovely Clare is also at the hospital on the same day and I know I'm asking you to stretch yourselves but if you could jump from one to the other or cut yourselves in half I could really do with the support as I'm pretty nervous.....

We could run a zip wire between you and Clare, Bubbadog, and have a bit of fun whizzing between the two of you. Count me in.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Amanda,

With pocket duties we can be in many places at once so yep will be with you as well.

The o/t's are good Amanda and the supports will hopefully be both comfortable and help no end. I also hope it will go well with the Gynocologist flower.

Hang in there and we will be there. Cris x

Hi Everyone! Had mixed results at the appointments yesterday! 1st appt with the O.T the O.T was lovely and tried several different types of wrist and thumb supports and when we agreed which was the best they didn't have any in my size so she has had to order me some from another hospital and she has said she will come to my home rather than I have to sort transport and get to the hospital, which I thought was so good of her and she will get it fitted properly. So will have them by Tuesday at the latest. She also told me of a new Rhumatoid/ Orthopeadic consultant that has just started at the hospital and it was worth me asking my G.P to be reafered to him to see if he could take a look at me and see if he could help me in anyway. So that was good.
My 2nd appt was with the Gynocologist who didn't really agree with my G.P and my urologists thoughts and justs wants me to go through more tests and scans for nothing really. It was the Jnr Doctor who stayed in the room when the Consultant left who showed me something in my notes who said it is worth giving this procedure ago (woun't say what because it's not something you openily you would discuss on a forum!) before thinking of going through all the tests the consultant wants you to go through. So I talked with the O.H and he agree's with the Jnr Doc's idea so got to talk to my G.P about getting balls rolling on a referal to the new Rhumi/Ortho and having the op to sort tummy out. Well after those 2 appts I shattered going to chill today!

You are right, bubbadog. A good chilling day is definitely called for. I hope it's going to plan.

The appointments sound to have gone well although there are still ends to be tied up with both. I do hope this gynae thing works and you don't need anything more.
