Hi all, after doing the graveyard shift on the forum last night i did go in to work.

Yes, ok, i know, what was i doing.....

Well i asked myself that question on the way in. I hate letting people down and giving into the arthur, and i havent had this job long.

Thanks to my superhero friend tigresswaits and buddy Traluvie, who emailed some sense into me.

I managed to have a great chat with my boss at lunch time and told her how it is. I will be working from home this week, that means i can spread my hours when it suits me over 4days instead of 2.
Am having to reading up on education law, anti bullying in schools and exclusions, the new proposals. This may seem easy except i am dyslexic and have meres irlene (visual stress).

Anyhow the main thing is i can rest, have hotties where i want and get up, lie down when needed all in my pj's if i wish

I know wed isnt long to wait, just easier doing the waiting from home.

Cheers Traluvie.xx

    Hi Clare,

Thats a much better plan than being in an office but its not fair your having to do it and I hope they really will come up with something for wens that will help either long-term or in the interim as well.

Hang in there and hope the rest will help you so much. ((((( ))))) an a bucket of hopes. Cris xx

Hi Clare, it was an old friend who told me to listen to my body and that way you will learn how far it will be pushed. I'm still learning you could say! And I over do it somedays (as I said still learning!), but I feel I'm getting there and and when I do get it right it's great to know I managed to do something and not being in pain for doing that something!
I hope it's helping you with your job and also doing your social activities.

I learned to listen (although sometimes it's far from easy) and it does make life easier in some respects. I find that if I stop when I feel I can do more then that is a successful strategy for avoiding unreasonable levels of payback. I've been working at home for some years now and it does make a difference. I hope you enjoy it! DD

Some people do have the sense to see when its OK to work from home and when you need to go into work. I'm sure a lot more jobs could be done better if at least part of them could be done at home.
It is also better for people with mobility problems.
So I'm glad things are working out for you.
