hi everyone
I am currently under the rhuematology team but had no definate diagnoses of anything although they think its some auto immune condition due to my history.
I have graves disease and saw my thyroid doc today who said i had a positive lupus anti body. What does this mean? Do i have lupus?
My joint pain is not related to my graves as i have had a thyroidectomy.
Also he told me my last bloods showed no inflamation yet i still have joint pain. Is this possible? I could cry most nights im in so much pain. Im 27 and often feel 90 i have so littleenergy.
Any advice would be great

Hi,
I don't have anything medically helpful to say, sorry - but just wanted to send kind wishes, pain is a swine. Have spent most of today in bed with the electric blanket on to try and ease my knees so totally understand.
I hope you have some relief from the pain very soon.0 -
Hi,
I have joint pain but my bloods are ok..
My inflammation showed up in bone scan, which has lead them to believe i have inflammatory arthritis of some sort but which one they are not sure.
Is he doing any other tests?? Hopefully he will do some more investigation and will be able to help you with meds to make you more comfortable.
Once the Rheumy new that i had inflammation in joints he started me on hydroxychloroquine which has helped.
Hope things improve soon..xxxTracyxx0 -
They are starting me on sulfasalazine in march but I just find it scary taking these drugs when they dont really know whats wrong. I dont want to take something just for the sake of taking it if that makes sense but on the other hand I dont want this joint pain!0
