Hi,

Got my dla lower rate care and all because i can't cook a meal are you still laughing coz i am!!!

I have fibro and o/a of my lower spine and because i bought myself a tri-walker so i could get to my local shop they say i don't need the mobility componant oh and i'm ok out in the wide world no panic or anxiety!!!

I knew my atos home medical went to pot when the woman focused on my yorkie ruby, the time and the taxi waiting outside to whisk her off to her other £100 odd victim

YES i am appealling against my decision as the woman took note of my med's bet no questions about when and what i take them for and my fibro didn't even come into it she was only interested in my back

Thanks for the vent i feel better allready now i am off to post my big fat appeal letter recorded delivery to the man in the cushy office of dla

What gets me with DLA is when you watch the programmes where people are getting DLA when they are perfectly fit and have been found out. How is it they manage to get it when many of us are genuine claiments with full medical history and are refused, I also had to appeal and the doctor who came to see me couldn't believe I had been turned down the first time, it says a lot about the people who make these decisions in their cushy office. Maybe they operate pass one reject three without fully reading the claims.

Good luck with your appeal I have just been turned down for DLA even though I can't cook myself a meal and need hubby's help showering dressing etc due to RA in my wrists perhaps I should appeal .

Good luck with your appeal. It's worth doing for sure. When I applied for DLA first time they refused. I appealed and all of sudden I was entitled to higher mobility and medium care! Go figure!

good luck with the appeal when i first applied i was turned down and even when i appealed they turned it down again i went to a tribunal with it and the tribunal said i was to be given higher rate mobility. so it's worth fighting your case

    Hi

Thanks for all your support it helps to boost the confidence knowing i made the right decision to fight back i was surprised that i only got the lrc when really it's the mobility i need without it i would just veg away on my sofa and be the recluse i love to be. Even tho' i know it's wrong that's one reason why i need the help.

My hubby is my fighter and refuses to let things stand so we shall fight the system.
