Have just spent 4 1/2 hours in our local A&E dept I now have a plastered right wrist trust me. :smile:

    Tony as i said what an idiot i am :roll: was out with my rollator getting some bread as i was walking down road someone said something as they walked past me thought they were talking to me so i turned my head to look and hand slipped off rollator handle and down i went i put hand out to save myself and managed to fracture wrist. :roll:

    Oh no! Silly accidents are so easily done, and one feels such a twerp. Turbogran, you poor thing but I appreciate the timely warning as I am about to embark on a trek with my rollator - methinks I shall tie my hands on! Take things easy today, yes? And tomorrow, and Sunday. DD

    What are you like Carol!! It's so easily done though, I lose my balance a lot and my OH panic's when I do!     Hi all thank you for your concern pain not to bad but as it is only what they call a back slab untill at least next wednesday it little more painful the with a full cast on but am managing to an extent some things are harder than others. Had a few tears of frustration this morning tryingbu to get dressed but i managed it in the end. :lol:
    DD yes must admit you do feel a right twerp when you do things like that particuarly when you are outside.
    Amanda unfortunatley it is my writing hand but fortunatley I use the other one when using one crutch. at the moment 2 crutches are out of the question. :roll:
