HELP! Travelling long distance with Enbrel

Hi all, hope you are doing well.
I'm travelling to Andorra during February half term to go skiing! The enbrel is working so well that I can actually ski again
As with all highs there are lows though...
The journey to the airport is 2 hours, 3 hours, 2 hour flight, 4 hour coach transfer the other end means that my enbrel will be out of the fridge for 11 hours! Even if I ask the airline to store it on the plane it will only be there for 2 hours out of the 11.
When I get there there are also no hotels in the resort with fridges in the room.
Is there anyone who has faced these kind of issues before and has a solution? Due to the nature of the holiday I really don't want to not take the meds for a week as I'm straight back into teaching GCSEs when I get back and can't afford the time off.
All advice would be very appreciated!!

Ye gods, that's some result isn't it? It's nice to know that the stuff works, I am pleased for you. This question of travel and 'cold' drugs has cropped up before, if you do a search on this topic on this forum all the previous answers should pop up. I hope you have a grand holiday - but please don't break anything! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thank you to you both!
I will try my hardest not break anything. I've got lessons booked as a refresher. I used to ski before I was diagnosed. I went last year, took it very easy. I was on steroid injections and was due to start the enbrel as soon as I came back and it has worked wonders (touch wood!!!)
Delboy - I have found that too, it's £65 on the diabetes uk website https://www.diabetes.org.uk/OnlineShop/Insulin-protectors-NEW/MEDICOOL-fridge/
from what I can see though you need to have it plugged in for it to be running. Therefore I would need the travel pack plus this which amounts to £100! Sometimes you feel it's not fair that you have to fork that out to be able to be healthy. Though I guess at least I am lucky enough to have the condition under control and not grumble too much!!!
Just wondered if anyone had slightly cheaper solutions!!

I've used a frio bag too to go to Jamaica, at least 14 hours travelling and the enbrel was fine. Enjoy your skiing!

Hello Steph you can phone Embrel home care 0845 601 2816
They have containers you can use to carry your meds in. You may need to think about customs or security. You don’t want them confisgating your embrel talk to home care about that to.
Cheers
