Hello,

I feel embarressed to tell you as so many of you have problems that are much worse than mine, but I've just had a call from the DWP and they are reinstating my ESA, with a further medical in 9 months time.

They had looked at my papers and wanted to clarify a few points before putting me through to tribunal. Before I agreed to it I asked (nicely) if answering would effect my tribunal if he didn't award anything. I was told it dosn't it's just that they had already added more points, but needed to check a few things over. They asked about a few simple things about my hands and what I can do and about my state of health at the moment. Suddenly I felt a cloud come over my memory and mixed up dates and stammered, not getting the right words out. I felt so stupid and thought he'd think I was round the bend or putting it on, but he waited whilst I got my thoughts into more order. I have to have another medical in 9 months time. He said he had a letter from the hospital, now I'm worried that I've got something horrible and not been told!
Well, thats my news for now! Still I suppose I'll lose in April when things change. Love Suexxx

    Hi Sue
    Good luck with it.
If you've been awarded it you must be entitiled to it......they dont hand things like benefits out easily now.
    So enjoy.
Be optimistic not pessimistic about april :D

It's great to hear that for once a decision has gone the right way. Congratulations woodbon, I hope that has eased your mind more than a little. DD
