An update on me

Well my appointment has now come through for my first round of injections.
I am getting my first steriod injection and methatrexate by injection next Friday.
I am also getting assessed for a blue badge the following week.
Things are progressing. I am really nervous about getting my first steriod injection but I am sure once I get the first one out the way I will fine.
Will give another update afterwards.

If it's a steroid into your backside then that is quite straightforward, the joint ones are a little more complicated. I hope the steroid has a good effect on you in that its positive effects last and I wish you well with the meth. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Debra
Good to see you.
I am posting on behalf of myself and Cris (skezier).
So glad things are finally happening for you
Re the jabs and your nervousness...Debra...they honestly are ok (Cris has had 100's) over really quickly and can be really really effective.
Pocket duties available on request They can be very effective.
Love Toni and Cris
PS good luck with the blue badge0 -
Hello Debra,
I've had both the steroid jab into my bottom and into my joints. Both are fairly painless. The one into a joint is a slightly longer procedure and a bit uncomfortable but both have brought me relief for a few weeks and have been worth it.
The injected MTX has been blessing for me (no side effects!) and I hope it is the same for you.
Good luck, esp with the BB.0
