UPDATE.....
Thanks Cris...
Wow what a day, it started at 4.30pm when we got up and we got home at 5.30pm  OK sowas it worth it I hear you say, well in a word YES, I do believe I am finally getting somewhere.
the consultant took a full history from the age of 12 when it started and took a timeline of when things happened, what they were, age starting , medication have been on and present. He loved the pain map, thought it was very descriptive and easy to use, Thanks Anky.
Anyhow he concluded by saying he believes I have an inflamitory arthritis whether it be PA or orther he said the treatment was the same but to rule things out or in he wanted blood tests and xrays. He said I could have Fibro as a secondary condition, did pressre tests, told him how and when the fatigue started and the sleep probs etc, he does think it is a possibility but wants to keep an open mind and not agree to something until he is sure.
He ordered blood tests and xrays straight away. I had 6 tubes, resulting in 16 tests, 7 xray of spine hands, wrists and feet. I have never had my wrists xray,d b4.
He is not happy that my local hosp stopped the mtx and did not introduce something else, he was also not amused that I am on so many pain medications without a diagnosis and follow up support
Well at least he is prepared to find out what is happening and help me.
He wants to see me in 6 weeks and we will then discuss results and what we are going to do. He mentioned Anti TNF,s for the arthur and a treatment plan for the fibro and arthur together.
Although he didnt want to say for sure until the tests were back he was strongly erring towards those.
Anyhow It was an experience and a good one for a change.
Thank you to all those supporting posts. All those for getting up so early for pocket duties and special support from Anky, Poppy and Cris today while I was at hospital.

Hi Clare
good to hear your appointment went well and that you have had umpteen tests done to diagnose your condition.
It was a very long day but will be worth it in the end.
Will be ready for another early start in 6 weeks for when you get your results. Hopefully you will then find the right meds and your life will become so much easier.
Take care
