Well I survived!

I survived my first ever steriod injection into the knee.
It wasn't too bad, slight discomfort but nothing more.
No side effects at the moment other than a horrible headache and feeling a bit yucky. Knee not sore at all, but I have taken a paracetamole just incase.
I also managed to inject myself with Meth the first time. Never thought in a million years that I would be able to do that. It was really easy.
Heres hoping that the steriod injection works.
Thanks all for your support, I couldn't have done it without you.
What a fab forum this is.

Hi hun. The very best of luck with the injection in the knee, I've just had both done again so hope mine work too. Will have to compare results lol.. Think it's way too early to expect anything yet though..
Well done on injecting yourself too. Big step to take I'm sure..

Well done you, two milestones hurdled with some ease - it's amazing what we can bring ourselves to face and do when the situation demands. Rest up now for as long as you can manage to really give that steroid a chance to help. Way to go, girl - you done OK! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Glad it all went okay.
Methotrexate can give you headaches, it does for me -I have tablets as injections didn't work for me? Are you injecting for Nausea side effects?
Hope the pain lessens soon,
