Well folks. We have had a great day. Janet's Dad would have been proud..
Happy Birthday Con. (he would have have been sixty nine today)
We've just spent the last few hours in the bar in the hotel listening to one of the worst bands I've ever not walked out on, lol.. They were so poor they were great. Plus, turns out the singer was a friend of Janet's Dad's growing up.. It's been a long day but a good one.
We are both shattered now. Doubt I'll sleep yet though. The day is taking it's toll but I'd do it again.

The hill climb was erm,harduous... It was bitter cold up there too.
Coming down was harder than going up. Always find that with those crappy knees of mine.


Hope everyone is ok. Del, sorry mate but I think I lost a mule on the way down. :shock:

Think I'm staying put in mi bed for now, nasty pain :roll: However.... I did the most important part and got up that hill. Lol
Janet has gone for breakfast but I've had the dullers and am off back to kip. Knees were rather swollen through the night, payback is indeed a beehatch..

Hope all are well. Dunno what todays plans are. We are not going to go on todays excursion to dublin, done it twice plus two of Con's family who came up the hill stayed at the hotel last night so we could spend more time with them. Probably stay local..

Tomorrow we are going on the Waterford trip though. Have missed that one each time in the past as it's always fallen on the day we climb mount mcspud..

Not the best of starts. After janet tom the cases down and came back up to the room we went to leave for breakfast, lift is out of order :shock:
Thank God we are only on first floor. Have to go back up after eating though for coats etc.
Doesn't bode well.

Oh, and the bus nutter is sat behind us, forgot to mention that one all week, haha..
