The title of this thread is ......'comes to an end' but I think that is incorrect and needs to be changed!

4 weeks is obscene!

Elizabeth. This thread was started whilst I was in Ireland, the bed turned up then. The mother inlaw was staying here and rang us to say it had been delivered. I let Julie know and she started the thread. Little did we know that when we got home we woods realise.they'd sent the wrong bed base.. Lol
Total bloody farce...
I'm too tired to complain today, got enough on mi plate with the pain.. I'll stick a boot up their jacksie don't worry... The compensation better be good once we have what we ordered..

awwwww Tony, i was afraid the cock up would take place :roll: they all seem to be useless at picking the right components or reading these days! When my stairlift arrived it was the wrong colour so it had to go back! i then had to struggle for another couple weeks! :x it makes you so angry and the inconvenience of it all :x I do hope you get it all sorted soon!
(there is more to the stairlift story!!!!! :x )

There is useful advice about non delivery of goods ordered, on DirectGov, Buying furniture and your consumer rights, problems with delivery.

I mean 4 weeks is a long time to wait.

We actually ordered the bed on the ninth of december :? Totally us :x eless company...

I was thinking a further 4 weeks,is it worth it? Could you not just cancel and get a bed from elsewhere!!! I'd be tempted to tell them where to shove their bed.

I wish we could but as it's on four yrs interest free we've signed an agreement with a third party, basically it's classed as a loan. If we want to get out of that it will cost us.. As we stand we have the bed, it's the right mattress but wing base. Even that took bloody ages :roll:
It has been absolutely farcical from the start..
