Roll on 2 weeks time when we will have a newly refurbish and decorated bathroom. builders in for the next 2 weeks doing it really looking forward to when it's finished, will not have to struggle with getting in and out of the bath anymore cos we will have a walk in shower instead.

Stay positive always👍xx

Lovely. I have a double sized shower and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately it is not a walk in as there are a couple of steps which have caused me problems with my hips. But the hot water really helps with the bones.
I would say it is my fave place in the house.

A new bathroom will be great, Carol, and it will make life much easier for you to have the shower. Good luck with all the refitting upheaval, and I hope it will all go well for you.

Hi Carol, we have applied for one too!!! Its due to my husband, he has heart condition, RA diabetes.......I could go on!!
Its going to be great for both of us, neither of us have been able to use the bath for over a year, and its hard stepping into it to get a shower. My daughter who is 18, is a bit sad as she loves her bath, but totally understands why its being done. Not sure how long we have to wait, as its been agreed but theres quite a wait here in our part of London.
I just worry how you cope while its being fitted, as you cant use it at all.
Happy for you Carol x x xROSE ELLEN0
